SheHacks is designed to create an open, welcoming community for all.
As such, we are committed to providing a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for all participants free from discrimination for any reason including on the basis of gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, age and religion.
We expect our participants to be respectful, considerate and cooperative in order to insure the best experience possible for all. Be mindful of your surroundings and of your fellow participants. Your fellow participants may have a different level of comfort with respect to language and personal space.
Any unacceptable behaviour such as harassment, abuse, discrimination or derogatory remarks will not be tolerated. If you or anyone around you is subject to unacceptable behaviour, please report this to any member/volunteer of the SheHacks team– we are equipped to take further action. Consequences include but are not limited to exclusion from competition, workshops and removal from the event.
